WELCOME TO VILLA BASEVI

For your prestigious stay

This charming residence, belonging to the prestigious family

P. Libardi di Kreuzfeld, has roots that dates back to the glories of

the noble Libardi family originally from Levico, near Trento city.

Their story comes to life way back in 1511, when their forefather,

Giovanni Andrea Libardi, obtained imperial nobility in Castel Pergine

by the Emperor Maximilian First of Habsburg of Holy Roman Emperor

for having distinguished himself in the bloody battles of Valsugana

against the Lords of Padua and Venice. Since 2013, the Libardi family has made the splendid villa their home.

1943 NAZI OCCUPATION

The History of villa Basevi doesn’t

stop here

During the Nazi occupation in 1943, the villa was

requisitioned by General Wolff's troops, who transformed

into the SS headquarters. Still Today, the bunker built

to escape the bombings of the allies is a tangible

testimony of those tumultuous times.

After the war, the villa experienced multiple lives:

it was a medical-surgical clinic and a clinical analyses

laboratory, before being faithfully reported in the last decade

to its original state during a meticulous period of conservative

renovation, cared for with passion by the family.

Today, villa Basevi is a residence that combines the

charm of a time passed with the comfort of modern times.

Staying here means immersing yourself in a unique history

and living a magnificent experience of authentic prestige

in a green oasis, just 10 minutes walk from Erbe square,

Vittoria bridge, Pietra bridge, Borgo Trento hospital and

15 minutes away from the Arena, a few steps from public transport, 4 Novembre street with its pubs, ice cream parlors, pizzerias, shops, banks, etc.
